The structure of steam hose usually consists of multiple layers to ensure its performance and safety in high temperature and high pressure environments. The typical steam hose structure includes the following parts:
1. Inner tube (inner rubber layer): usually uses high temperature resistant synthetic rubber or special rubber compounds such as ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM) or fluororubber (FKM). The main functions are high temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
2. The reinforcement layer (reinforcement layer) is usually composed of a high-strength fiber braided layer (such as polyester fiber, nylon fiber) or a metal braided layer (such as steel wire braid). Provide the strength and pressure resistance of the steam hose to ensure that it can withstand steam or hot water transportation under high pressure.
3. Intermediate rubber layer (sometimes present): usually synthetic rubber, similar to the inner tube material. Increase the adhesion between the inner layer and the reinforcement layer, and further enhance the pressure resistance and heat resistance of the hose.
4. Outer tube (outer rubber layer): The outer layer usually uses weather-resistant and wear-resistant synthetic rubber materials such as chloroprene rubber (CR) or ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM). Protect the inner layer and reinforcement layer from damage by the external environment, such as mechanical wear, sunlight ultraviolet rays, corrosion from chemicals, and adverse weather conditions.
5. High temperature resistant insulation layer (sometimes present): Some high-end steam hoses will add a layer of special high temperature resistant insulation material between the outer layer and the inner layer to further improve the high temperature resistance of the pipe. Provide additional thermal protection to prevent the high temperature of the internal steam from being transmitted to the outside, ensuring safety during use.
This multi-layer structure enables the steam hose to have excellent performance such as high temperature, high pressure, corrosion resistance and wear resistance in industrial applications, and can operate reliably in various harsh environments.
